About your Host Speakers


Pradeep adatrow, dds, msd

Dr. Adatrow is the only practicing Board Certified Periodontist and Prosthodontist in the southern United States. After finishing college at the University of Alabama he earned his DDS from the University of Tennessee. He did a 3-year residency in Periodontics and Implantology at Indiana University. He went on to complete another 3 year residency in Prosthodontics from the University of Tennessee. 
Dr. Adatrow has been on the faculty in University of Tennessee for the past 12 years. Currently he serves as the Director of Surgical Prosthodontics.
He practices in Southaven and Hernando, MS.


andrew Abide, dds

After graduating from Mississippi State University with a BS in microbiology, Dr. Andrew Abide attended dental school at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed an AEGD residency and worked in private practice before deciding to further his dental education at Louisiana State University completing an endodontic residency in 2011. He founded Abide Endodontics in 2013 with the commitment of providing the most advanced endodontic treatment possible with minimal patient discomfort.


Jessica cox, dds, msd

Dr. Jessica Cox graduated with a BS in Biomedical sciences from the University of Mississippi and received her DDS from the Univ of Tenn. She then attended a residency in Orthodontics at St. Louis University where she received her orthodontic specialist certificate and her Masters of Science in Dentistry Research. She has been published in the progressive Orthodontist magazine.

When she’s not in the office you will find her outdoors enjoying God’s creation, on the beach with her girls or on a long run! She is a member of the Hernando United Methodist Church and founder of the Life song for Children – Matthew 25:40 fund. She practices in Olive Branch and Hernando, MS where she lives with her husband Wynne, son Rett and twin girls Wynsley and Westyn.

Dr. David Felton; Dean of the University of Mississippi

Dr. Felton received his D.D.S. and his M.S. in Prosthodontics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry (UNC SOD). He joined the UNC SOD faculty in 1984 as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Fixed Prosthodontics. He was Director of Graduate Prosthodontics for four years and Chair of the Prosthodontics Department for a decade before rejoining the faculty as a full professor. Dr. Felton became Dean of the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 2011. After three years as Dean, he became a Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. President of the Academy of Prosthodontics, Dr. Felton has also served as President of the American College of Prosthodontists. He is editor of the Journal of Prosthodontics and is Secretary-Treasurer for the American Board of Prosthodontics (ABP). He became a Diplomat of the ABP in 1996, and has since successfully recertified twice.


Louann Goodnough, BS, MS; Clinical Hygienist

Ms. Goodnough is proud to say she also has a B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Minnesota and respectfully admits that she has frequently been called upon to be a guest facilitator for their Foundations of Interprofessional Communication course. Ms. Goodnough was the Dental Clinic Coordinator for the Master of Science Advanced Dental Therapy education clinic for Metropolitan State University, the first of its kind in the United States. Additionally, she completed her M.S. in Public and Non-Profit Administration. Ms. Goodnough has been a practicing clinical hygienist since 2001. A grassroots “Oral Health” advocate with experience in clinical hygiene, leadership development, mentoring, financial management leadership and has been recognized for her authenticity and her direct communication style. Ms. Goodnough has experience working in collaboration with leaders, staff, and healthcare providers in both the profit and non-profit sectors. A member of the Board for the American Dental Hygienists' Association for 6 years, she was elected to consecutive terms as their Treasurer. She is currently serving as President of the Minnesota Dental Hygienists' Association as well as an appointed dental hygiene member on the Dental Services Advisory Committee for the Department of Human Services in Minnesota. Ms. Goodnough is happily married to her best half, Scott. For fun, they enjoy camping, hiking, Twins baseball and their two dogs, Felix and Oscar.
